Terms of Service
By using Plan2Ace you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
Plan2Ace provides an AI-assisted study planner and tutor. Teaching content is generated by an AI model and may contain errors. It is a study aid, not a substitute for your own judgment, your instructors, or official course materials. Do not rely on it as professional advice.
Ace's spoken voice is optional and runs entirely on your device. Turning it on downloads a speech model of roughly 325 MB over your own connection and stores it on your iPhone. You can remove it at any time from Profile → Ace's voice.
On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence, On-device AI is an optional setting that runs Ace on Apple's on-device model instead of our servers. It consumes no Ace credits and needs no connection. Its answers are shorter and simpler than the server engine's, and it depends on Apple Intelligence being available and enabled on your device, which is outside our control.
Recording
Plan2Ace can record audio so you can keep a lecture or your own notes and read them back. You are responsible for what you record. Recording laws differ by country and by state, and many schools and universities have their own rules: in some places every person being recorded must agree first. Before you record a lesson, a teacher, or anyone else, get their permission and follow the rules of the place you are in. Do not record where it is not allowed, and do not share a recording of someone without their consent.
Recordings are yours. They are stored on your device and, if you choose to back them up, in your private storage. We do not listen to them or use them to train anything.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of information you provide. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the app to break the law or infringe others' rights.
- Do not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service or its usage limits.
- Do not submit content you do not have the right to submit.
- Do not post objectionable content in study rooms or any shared surface. This includes sexual content, harassment, bullying, threats, hate speech, content promoting self-harm or illegal activity, spam, and sharing another person's private information.
- Do not harass, impersonate, or abuse other users.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Accounts that post it are removed.
Reporting and moderation
Every message in a study room can be reported and every author can be blocked, from the message itself. Reported content is hidden immediately. We review reports and remove violating content and the accounts responsible within 24 hours of the report being filed.
Automated filtering also blocks known objectionable terms before a message is posted, and applies to content generated by the AI tutor.

Subscriptions
Plan2Ace offers auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Billing is handled by Apple under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), which also applies to your use of the app.
Content ownership
You retain ownership of the study content you submit. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to provide the service to you.
Disclaimer & liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for exam outcomes, academic results, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
